This ministry was initially started in London by Michael Moloney, Séamus O’Neil & Toni Matosevic under the spiritual direction of Monsignor Keith Barltrop.
Both Michael and Séamus had powerful experiences of the love of God who saved them from lived of depression, despair and sexual sin.
In 2018 by God’s grace Michael and Séamus met for the first time in Medjugorje while climbing ‘Cross Mountain’.
As they prayed together at the Blue Cross in Medjugorje, Our Lady spoke to them and she sent them out on mission of sharing the love and hope of Jesus with people in the LGBT community.

Relying totally on the Holy Spirit they travelled from Medjugorje to Dubrovnik and Sarajevo and then onto Split where they met Toni Matosevic, a young transgender catholic who also wanted to give his life to Jesus and join them full time on mission.

The three of them were then inspired by the Holy Spirit to travel to London where they providentially met Monsignor Keith Barltrop (Chaplain to Catholics experiencing LGBT in London) and with the support of other Catholics with a love of Medjugorje, they began this ‘Medjugorje LGBT Ministry’.

The goal of this ministry is to bring people struggling with things like sexuality, gender and faith to a deep and personal encounter with Jesus and Mary through the grace of Medjugorje.
