Today was Fr. Paul’s funeral mass!
Paul had a great love for everyone and especially for LGBT people.
He was very open about his own struggles with sexuality as a priest and he had a special love for LGBT people and a thirst that the Catholic church would open wide its doors to embracing and loving them.
Two years ago I did this interview with Fr. Paul and while we didn’t agree on everything when it came to LGBT people, we agreed on the essential; that LGBT people are children of God and need to be loved, accepted and integrated into the Catholic church.
RIP Fr. Paul and please intercede for our ministry down here and for all struggling LGBT people!
