Our Lady
‘My children,
Today I desire to teach you about patience; patience with yourselves, patience with God and patience with others!
My little ones, many of you despite so very many years of prayer still struggle enormously with certain vices. For some of you it’s fits of anger, for others it’s gossiping and a tendency not to forgive while for others it’s lustful thoughts and actions and many other vices.
Yet my children, you have also seen great changes and great progress in your lives!
You are like students learning a foreign language who have made very significant advances and yet who still make significant faults!
This my children is God’s way of teaching you patience and teaching you to continue to trust and call on His mercy regardless of whether you are praying for 30 years or just 3 days!
You must not confuse patience with complacency. Patience means doing your very best all while knowing that perfection takes a lifetime while complacency is when souls settle in their mediocrity and do not try to improve.
Similarly you must not confuse holiness with impatience! It is good to hate your sin but it is not good to hate yourself and to be impatient with yourself because holiness will never be achieved by force.
Finally my children you must be patient with God who has chosen this way for you to become holy. He who could do all things in an instant has chosen to take a lifetime to sanctify you
My children, be children of hope, of mercy, of love and most of all of holy patience with yourselves and with others and with God.‘
